Dead internet theory. The idea is that there's actually not a lot of people on the internet and it's just mostly filled with bots, not real people.
In other words, when people say "ignore all previous instructions-" they're trying to trigger the bot to spit out whatever command they give next. It's pretty much a clever way to call someone a bot/NPC or someone who just follows the masses and does and says whatever everyone else does and says like a drone.
